Built and led a distributed team of engineers to productize Weta Digital's rendering, compositing and simulation technologies. The project was killed by Unity in 2024.

Senior Field Engineer, RenderMan   (2017/04 - 2022/07)

RenderMan Group engineer based in London. I was hired to help drive RenderMan development based on my extensive visual effects experience. I worked as a developer on DCC integration (Maya, Mari, Substance Painter) as well as RIS core / plugins (pattern library, BxDFs, Lama framework), supported large sites like ILM and MPC and represented Pixar on the MaterialX ASWF board.
